Our Pastor

Dr. Tommy Kiedis has been the Senior Pastor of Spanish River Church since 2009.  He is married to Shannan, and together they have brought up five sons and one daughter.  Today they are also proud grandparents.

Our facilities sit on a 20-acre campus and include a 1,500-seat worship center, a 400-seat chapel, a bustling preschool, kindergarten, elementary and middle school, a full-service counseling center with state-licensed therapists, and 400-seat youth center complete with a game room and gym.

Our History

In 1967, Dr. David and Nori Nicholas and a small group of people met in an empty storefront near Palmetto Park Road to start a new way to celebrate faith, a joyful and inclusive way that would welcome people of all ages and stages of life. The church they built was more than merely church, it has grown into a community of love, friendship and faith. 

Over the 42 years that Dr. Nicholas pastored Spanish River Church, SRC has planted 250 churches in the United States and around the globe, helping orphans and families in third-world countries have a better future through medical clinics, life skills training, orphanages and orphan villages, small businesses and hope through Jesus Christ.  Many of those churches have planted their own churches around the world.  We continue to plant churches of hope today.
