Upward Basketball & Cheerleading
Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is a community sports league specifically designed for children in kindergarten through 6th grades that promotes character and self-esteem. This is reinforced by giving equal playing time, highlighting strengths and encouraging each child throughout the season.

2010-2011 SEASON PRACTICES/GAMES/EVALUATIONS
Practices begin: Week of December 6th, 2010
First games: Saturday, January 15th, 2011
Practice Schedule: One-hour practices are once a week for 1st - 6th Grades. Kindergarten practices on Saturday mornings for 1/2 hour before their game.
Evaluations: each player is required to attend one of the following evaluations (evaluations take approximately 15 minutes):
- 5th & 6th Grade Boys/Girls Tuesday, October 19th 6 - 8 pm
- 3rd & 4th Grade Boys/Girls Thursday, October 21st 6 - 8 pm
- Kindergarten - 2nd Grade Boys/Girls Sat, October 23rd 9 am - 12 pm
Cheerleader orientation sessions are held during the times listed above and are not grade specific.
