Volunteering your time, talents and treasures - serving other people - is how we can express our love and thanks for all the things God has done for us.  

It is a great way to meet people and become connected with others who share your particular interests.  We strengthen our church family, become known and closer to each other, and most importantly, when we give of what God has given us - whether it's our time to do something simple or great, our talents and God-given gifts to do what He has equipped us to do, or our treasures to help others less fortunate - serving draws us closer to God and develops in us the character of Christ.

What is needed?

Simply a heart for God and a willingness to share what we have and what we can do with others.  There are so many needs and opportunities, in our church, our community and in the world.  Whatever you can do or give, a life will be changed because you cared.

What is the best place to serve?

There is no "best place" because the needs are great and the workers and givers are few.  But if you do your best to match your time, talents and treasures to the needs in the world, in our community, and at Spanish River Church, you will bless someone else and God will bless you!  That said, we are happy to help you discover your "spiritual gift(s)" and help match you with ministries and outreaches where you can be the most effective.
