Postpartum Care
The many challenges of becoming a mother can sometimes be overwhelming. These challenges don't need to be experienced alone. Find the extra support and encouragement you need with practical steps for self-care in a safe and loving environment. This class meets Thursdays at 10:30am.

Jackie Adames
Director Jackie Adames, a registered nurse and lactation consultant, is passionate about the joys and challenges of the developing family with their newborn. Jackie started Nurturing Your Newborn with the goal of creating communities of supportive relationships between mothers and their babies begininng the first weeks of life. Today Nurturing Your Newborn is one of the most recommended classes for new moms. The success of Nurturing Your Newborn is only due to the number of amazing mothers who have come through the program, sharing and caring for one another.

Laura Super
Laura is passionate about walking alongside moms through the joys and challenges of mothering. Whether it is your first or third baby, the transitions are many and often bring about disorganization. Nurturing Your Newborn offers a safe place for moms to come together to share and learn from one another. Laura is a certified life coach, lactation counselor and has been trained in postpartum depression. One of her joys is to watch a new mom and baby grow together over the course of the first year.

Ashley Shimony
Born and raised in Boca Raton, Ashley grew up attending Spanish River Church. After earning an M.B.A. and successfully climbing the corporate ladder of a well-known retailer, Ashley walked away in pursuit of her life-long passion of becoming a mother. After discovering Nurturing Your Newborn, Ashley knew she needed to be involved and is now a Certified Lactation Counselor. Ashley believes that the best thing for a new mom to do is to “find your tribe.”
