Director of Children's Ministry

Before joining the SRC family, Tatiana’s hospitable spirit and desire to serve others led to her working in the restaurant industry. After dedicating 7 years, Tatiana left her management position in the restaurant to focus on her greatest ministry yet—motherhood. Not long after having her son, Roman, the Lord led Tatiana and her family to Spanish River Church. She began attending River Tots and immediately fell in love with the heart of the church. It was then that she felt a strong calling to work in the Children’s Ministry. Tatiana finds great joy in getting to know everyone’s story and learning about how the Lord is working through each of us for His glory!

Nurturing Your Newborn Maternal-Child Specialist

Jackie is a registered nurse and lactation consultant, Jackie is passionate about the joys and challenges of the developing family with their newborn. Jackie started Nurturing Your Newborn with the goal of creating communities of supportive relationships between mothers and their babies begininng the first weeks of life. Today Nurturing Your Newborn is one of the most recommended classes for new moms. The success of Nurturing Your Newborn is only due to the number of amazing mothers who have come through the program, sharing and caring for one another.

Life Coach & SRC Kids Care Specialist

Laura is passionate about walking alongside moms through the joys and challenges of mothering. Whether it is your first baby or third, the transitions are many and often bring about disorganization. Laura is a certified life coach, trained in stress management, parenting and postpartum anxiety/depression. She delights in watching a mom and her new baby grow together and helping families to form a strong connection through empowering families to embrace the joys and challenges with confidence, helping them to create a nurturing environment.

SRC Kids Administrative Assistant & River Tots Instructor

Joan has been a member of Spanish River Church since 1986 continually staying active in the Women’s Ministry and as a volunteer for SRC Kids. Joan came on staff as a River Tots instructor in 2005, as well as leading our Early Childhood Program and now serving as the SRC Kids Administrative Assistant. She has the pleasure of serving and supporting the Children’s Ministry as a whole.

Nurturing Your Newborn Coordinator

Born and raised in Boca Raton, Ashley grew up attending Spanish River Church. After earning an M.B.A. and successfully climbing the corporate ladder of a well-known retailer, Ashley walked away in pursuit of her life-long passion of becoming a mother. After discovering Nurturing Your Newborn, Ashley knew she needed to be involved and is now a Certified Lactation Counselor. Ashley believes that the best thing for a new mom to do is to “find your tribe.”

SRC Kids Awana Coordinator

Born in the Bay Area of California (Go 49ers!), Amy has been a Florida resident since 1998. She graduated with her BSW from Southeastern University and went on to obtain a Master of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. She married her husband, Rafa, over ten years ago and has three lovely children: Lucas, Joaquin, and Luna. As she experiences the gospel transform her life and family, she feels called to share the love of Jesus with the children and families in her community.

SRC Kids Early Childhood Coordinator

Kristen is a NYS certified teacher in grades 7-12, but spent most of her career in digital publishing for higher education markets. She notes her greatest blessing has been to stay at home with her younger children before they joined Spanish River Christian School. Her oldest son, Jackson is at Bentley University in Boston. While Kristen and her family attended Spanish River Church regularly, it was the heart and spirit of the school that drew Kristen and her family to become church members and to be baptized here at Spanish River Church.

SRC Kids Elementary Coordinator

Janelle is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor's degree in Childhood Education and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. After teaching for 5 years she felt called to use her passion for children and God to work in Children's ministry to help grow and develop children into confident and loving Christ followers. Janelle enjoys creating new relationships and is committed to building a strong and supportive community for SRC Kids.

River Tots Coordinator

Alyssa has always been passionate about moms spending international time with their little ones, as she was once a mom attending River Tots with her twin daughters. Her combined artistic and retail experience has been the foundation as director of River Tots. She wants moms to know how important these toddler years are and to treasure those times together!

SRC Kids Hospitality Assistant

Carol has over 30 years of experience in the classroom that was paired with many years of teaching at her church in North Carolina, Carol has always been passionate about making a difference in the lives of children. She and her family relocated to Florida just before COVID and they consider themselves so blessed to have found Spanish River after searching so hard for a church that felt like home. After becoming a member last spring an opportunity in the Children's Ministry presented itself. Carol is so thankful that she can be involved with SRC Kids and with leading the children of the Boca community to Jesus.

SRC Kids Awana Secretary

Noël fell in love with serving the Lord in the local church when she was part of a team that planted a new church in 2017. She has a passion for teaching and helping children learn the Word of God. While serving children through volunteering with SRC Kids, she wanted to get more involved with this amazing ministry.
